The Combo PRO is a set that includes the Mini Carrier Board and a PRO PDB. It is a great solution to get a full Cube environement in the most compact size possible. This set includes : - Mini Carrier Board - Mini PDB Pro 100A or 200A (depends on version) - 4* 8mm/M3 nylon spacers - 4* 4mm/M3 nylon spacers - 2* Airbot Cube power cables - 1* Airbot extra cable

The Mini Carrier Board :

PRO Power Distribution Board (PDB)

This version of Airbot PDB includes : - Power distribution over 10 pairs of pads (8 for ESC and 2 smaller for accessories) - Two power supplies (max 3A continuous) - Current sensing (100A or 200A) - Voltage sensing (12S Max)

Installation & Setup

Install the combo on a drone

Cube removal feature :

Power2 voltage output setup :

The MCB Pro v2.0 allows to change the voltage of the second power supply between 5V3 or 12V. - Power1 is a fixed 5v3 that must be used as primary power supply to the Autopilot. - Power2 can be used as redundant power supply for the flight controller (5V3) or switched to 12V @3A to power any other device (gimbal, camera, accesories, etc..) by using the Airbot extra cable provided in the set.

ATTENTION ! : Do never use 12V with the Cube connected, you will burn the Cube

Before changing the voltage, be sure that there is no power connected and that the Power2 output cable is not connected. Then simply move the miniature DIP switch as described on the following picture.

ATTENTION ! : Do never put the 4 switches on the same position On or Off. Always use the switches by pairs : 1 & 2 is a pair, then 3 & 4 is the second one.

Note : To avoid any damage on the power supplies and grant the reliability, we highly recommand to use anti-spark battery power connector on the power source ( like Amass XT90-S )

TRICKS & TIPS

Improve the current sensor precision

For most of applications, the current sensor settings provided above are good enough to obtain an accurate reading of the current consumed by the vehicle. Airbot Systems circuits do always use high end components with very high precision, but unfortunately 0% tolerance do not exist. Like all electronic components, current sensors have tolerances and are not all sticktly identical on the same production batch. To get correct 0A readings and increase the hall effect sensor accuracy, please follow the instructions below. This calibration shoud only be done once per board :

You can find all informations about the Mini Carrier Board on the or on the .

The combo is very easy to integrate, you simply have to follow the holes pattern provided below, place the nylon spacers between the frame and the boards, lock in place with screws and nuts and you are good to go. (screws length will depends of your frame / thickness of support) We provide different files and documents you can download for free in the of our website. It includes .pdf file you can print (at 100% scale) to help you drilling mounting holes manually, a dxf file to allow CNC router users to get the outlines ready to cut and 3D files to allow drone manufacturers to integrate it in their UAV developments.

The PDB Pro v2.0 has four 5mm holes in the center (30*30 pattern) which are aligned with the Cube screws. By creating the same holes pattern on the vehicle bottom frame plate it can grants a direct access to the Cube screws, so the Cube can be removed from the vehicle much more easily. There is no longer need of removing the all set. The files present on Airbot Systems contains all the plans and files to help making the MCBPv2.0 mouting pattern.

Use your favorite software to change the following parameters in your Cube, and get the sensors working. We recommand to use .
